In Ephesians 5:15-16, Paul describes walking wisely as “making the best use of the time.” A literal translation is “redeeming the time.” When we were dead in trespasses and sins, we squandered our time, living in futility. Just as Christ has redeemed us from this world, we’re to redeem the time from this present evil age by living for the glory of our Savior.
