In Ephesians 2:8-9, the Apostle Paul guards the purity of the Gospel by declaring that salvation is by grace through faith and not of works. However, in verse 10, Paul explains the role of “good works” in the life of the Christian. As those who have been made alive by God, we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works. However, these works are not our own, they have been prepared for us by God. They are the works He designed for us to fulfill on the path He has called us to walk.
