Not Only Citizens but Family 2/7/2016

Ephesians

In Ephesians 2:19, the Apostle Paul speaks of Christians of a Gentile heritage that were once strangers and aliens. They were once “far off” foreigners and outsiders with no home in the Kingdom of God. However, through the work of Christ they are not only fellow (equal) citizens with the saints, they have been adopted into God’s family. Those who formerly had no place in God’s Kingdom have been brought into the most intimate relationship in Christ.
