The Great Commission is based upon Christ's astounding, absolute authority. We are not building Christ's church, He is the architect and Master builder. We are merely tools in the Master's hand. It is not our responsibility to devise new methods for church growth but to be faithful to the task He has set before us - a task we can only fulfill by His strength and authority.
